Waiting on Wednesday:The Coldest Girl in Coldtown,Reality Boy & Awaken(Abandon Trilogy #3)

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating.

Hello people! its been a while since I've done a WoW post,so why don't you join me on looking at some of my can't-wait to read books? (click title for the Goodreads page):

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown
Release date: September 17, 2013
Publisher: Little, Brown Books for Young Readers
Pre-Order: Amazon | Book Depository
Tana lives in a world where walled cities called Coldtowns exist. In them, quarantined monsters and humans mingle in a decadently bloody mix of predator and prey. The only problem is, once you pass through Coldtown’s gates, you can never leave.

One morning, after a perfectly ordinary party, Tana wakes up surrounded by corpses. The only other survivors of this massacre are her exasperatingly endearing ex-boyfriend, infected and on the edge, and a mysterious boy burdened with a terrible secret. Shaken and determined, Tana enters a race against the clock to save the three of them the only way she knows how: by going straight to the wicked, opulent heart of Coldtown itself.

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown is a wholly original story of rage and revenge, of guilt and horror, and of love and loathing from bestselling and acclaimed author Holly Black.

The title, yes the title. That's what caught my attention in this book and reading it synopsis is far more catching that I though it is!

Reality Boy
Release date: October 22,2013

Publisher: Little, Brown Books for Young Readers
Pre-Order: Amazon | Book Depository

Gerald Faust knows exactly when he started feeling angry: the day his mother invited a reality television crew into his five-year-old life. Twelve years later, he’s still haunted by his rage-filled youth—which the entire world got to watch from every imaginable angle—and his anger issues have resulted in violent outbursts, zero friends, and clueless adults dumping him in the special education room at school.

Nothing is ever going to change. No one cares that he’s tried to learn to control himself, and the girl he likes has no idea who he really is. Everyone’s just waiting for him to snap…and he’s starting to feel dangerously close to doing just that.

In this fearless portrayal of a boy on the edge, highly acclaimed Printz Honor author A.S. King explores the desperate reality of a former child “star” who finally breaks free of his anger by creating possibilities he never knew he deserved.

A YA Contemporary book that deals with a boy who has anger management.
A very intriguing story to read.

Awaken (Abandon Trilogy, #3)
Awaken(Abandon Trilogy #3) by Meg Cabot
Release date: July 2nd, 2013
Pre-Order: Amazon | Book Depository
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Meg Cabot, the dark reimagining of the Persephone myth comes to a thrilling conclusion.

Death has her in his clutches. She doesn’t want him to let go.

Seventeen-year-old Pierce Oliviera knew by accepting the love of John Hayden, she’d be forced to live forever in the one place she’s always dreaded most: the Underworld. The sacrifice seemed worth it, though, because it meant she could be with the boy she loves.

But now her happiness — and safety — are threatened, all because the Furies have discovered that John has broken one of their strictest rules: He revived a human soul.

If the balance between life and death isn’t fixed, both the Underworld and Pierce’s home back on earth will be wiped away. But there’s only one way to restore order. Someone has to die.

I've been pining this book for days after reading the 2nd one, and I can't wait to read the conclusion on Pierce and John's story :) And oh have you look at the cover, yeah I know its stunning right?
