Goodreads Summary: Two irresistible boys. One unforgettable summer. Lori can’t wait for her summer at the lake. She loves wakeboarding and hanging with her friends—including the two hotties next door. With the Vader brothers, she's always been just one of the guys. Now that she’s turning sixteen, she wants to be seen as one of the girls, especially in the eyes of Sean, the older brother. But that’s not going to happen—not if the younger brother, Adam, can help it.Lori plans to make Sean jealous by spending time with Adam. Adam has plans of his own for Lori. As the air heats up, so does this love triangle. Will Lori’s romantic summer melt into one hot mess?
Endless Summer a sequel for The Boys Next Door has been an easy read for me. I like the book, the story, but somehow I feel a bit cheesed off or I feel like I’m over with the on and off thing with Adam and Lori. I know that Jennifer just wanted to show us what’s been happening in real life and this is it, that’s why in spite of what I feel from the fights of Adam and Lori I still have my heart for this book.
In the story the best thing that stands out for me is when Adam stand up for the thing he decided before he does something and the right thing. And not just because he feels it’s the ‘right’ thing. And be a man for Lori. While I think Sean also became a man at last in this part, when he say what he feels for the love of his life. I have to say I’m in a mediocre state in this book, but for all the Jennifer Echols fanatics and wanted to feel an Endless Summer in a different way—read this book!.:)
