Friday Hops

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Rachel at Parajunkee.
This week's question:
If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys
Between Shades of Gray
I LOVE this book. It made me cry and all but I was kinda not satisfied with the ending. I wanted to find out the hows.. I can't really say it without revealing anything. But it's still a great book!
Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy for Books for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word and to connect with other bookworms, make new friends, support each other, share our love of books!
This week's question:
What are you most looking forward to this fall/autumn season – A particular book release? Halloween? The leaves changing color? Cooler temperatures? A vacation?

I can't wait for A Monster Calls, The Clockwork Prince, Lola and the Boy Next Door, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, The Faerie Ring, and Silence. I've been looking forward to the release of these books all year. Unfortunately, we only have dry and wet season here and it's wet season until next year of February. I also can't wait for our semestral break on October!!

TGIF is a weekly feature for Fridays hosted by Ginger at GReads! to re-cap the week’s posts and that has a different question each week.
This week's question:
Which book(s) would you put in the hands of today's teenagers in hopes of making a difference in their lives?

These books have impacted me greatly after reading them. I think these are great examples of books that teenagers like me should spend their time reading.

  3. I haven't read Shades of Gray yet, but I've been wanting to. I've heard some mixed things about it. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer is one of my favorite reads this year, it's been amazing. I'll be giving away an ARC of it pretty soon, in a pretty big giveaway I have planned for my blog.

I'm also looking forward to Silence and The Clockwork Prince. I read the Faerie Ring as part of an ARC Tour and absolutely loved it. One fantastic book.

Also, I kinda of really like your blog...A LOT. New follower. :)

  8. This reminded me that I need to read Clockwork Angel before Clockwork Prince comes out! I have heard a lot about Cassandra Clare, but never got around to reading any of her books! Anyway, hope you enjoy the season :)

  10. It's funny home sometimes you can absolutely love a book but not the ending. Talk about frustrating!

  12. I haven't read Shades of Grey yet, so thank you for not sharing too much ;) And I completely agree with Carmel! Sometimes an ending can totally change my opinion of a book.

I'm also excited for just about all the books you listed up there. So many good ones! Now I'll just have to find the time to read them all lol.

I'm just stopping by from the blog hops but decided to follow as well!

  19. New follower. I haven't read Between Shades of Gray and I am not sure what it's about but I have seen it around and want to look into it, I just keep forgetting. The Truth About Forever, I agree. That book is love. I want to hand it to every teen girl and have them read it. I got chills at the end, underlined millions of passages, that book is just beautiful. And Perks of Being A Wallflower, I live near Pittsburgh, where a lot of the movie was filmed and I love that it was filmed in the same place where the book was set. I loved that book and unfortunately lost my copy a few years back. I have been wanting to replace it for a while now.

  22. I loved Between Shades of Gray. But if we learned the "hows" the book would have bogged down and become boring, don't you think?
