TGIF & Book Blogger Hop

TGIF is a weekly feature for Fridays hosted by Ginger at GReads! to re-cap the week’s posts and that has a different question each week.

This week's question:
Back to the Beginning: What was the 1st book you reviewed on your blog?
Me and my two other friends just started this blog last Sunday and so far, I've only posted one review and that will be of the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness. I did a review for the whole trilogy because after finishing each one, I always pick up the next right after without writing my thoughts. I literally did nothing else besides eat, sleep, and bathe during that time. lol. I know I have no life. But seriously, if you haven't read Patrick Ness' masterpiece of a trilogy, I HIGHLY suggest you do.

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy for Books for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word and to connect with other bookworms, make new friends, support each other, share our love of books!

This week's question from Ivan who blogs at Ivan Bookworm:
If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be from and what would that place be?

I'd love to spend a day in a world Cassandra Clare created in The Mortal Instruments series. I'm a huge fan of hers and her series and being in the world of Shadowhunters and Downworlders would be exciting. Besides, I haven't been to New York so it would be a double win for me!

Leave a comment with your answers or link so I can check them out!

  1. I can't believe I still haven't read The Mortal Instruments yet! (Fail)

  3. Congrats on starting your blog! It's looks fabulous so far :-) TGIF!

  4. Okay, I REALLY need to read the Chaos Walking series now! Every time that series is mentioned, I hear similiar comments in how people have barely slept because it's such a compulsive read. I have the first book but for some insane reason, I haven't read it yet!

I've only read the first Chaos Walking book, but it was AMAZING. I'm so excited to pick up the next two (hopefully) soon.

It's great to see a different answer, but I have to confess I still haven't read the Mortal Instruments series - they are definitely on my list but I just haven't got round to them.

    Have a great weekend.

  11. I'd love to visit the Shadowhunter universe too. I want to train to be a Shadowhunter, as I think it would be rather fun! :D

  12. I’ve seen a lot of great picks and gathered some fresh titles to add to my ever-growing TBR list. My answer will probably stun most people because the world I picked is a place most people would be scared to death of and try to escape from. Me? I want in.

Hop on over to my blog and be prepared for the unexpected –

  13. I have yet to read the Mortal Instruments series but I have read Clockwork Angel and I would very much like to visit London during that time period! New follower! Congrats on starting a blog! I love it; it's super fun :)

  14. Love, love, love the Chaos Walking trilogy. Patrick Ness is amazing.

I see that you're reading INTRINSICAL. I just met the author at a conference and she's the sweetest person. I can't wait to read her book.

Glad to have found you via the Hop!
